Dry Disconnect

The TR is a classic dry-disconnect coupling which now sets the standard for routine applications. Its exceptionally good sealing properties provided by the conical valve design ensure low O-ring wear and economical operation and maintenance. The improved flow characteristics make them easy to clean and improve the life of the coupling. The modular design of the coupling allows the customer to adapt it to their own requirements.

Wherever superheated steam is transmitted the high pressures and temperatures place special demands the couplings, so that a dry-disconnect steam coupling must withstand a constant pressure and temperature of 6 Bar/163°C and a short-term maximum of 18 Bar/210°C.

A key safety consideration when storing and transporting cryogenic media is the safe handling of the interfaces during loading and unloading. In compliance with the required leakage rates the TC dry disconnect coupling assures a fast and leak-free connection and disconnection over the entire temperature range from -196°C to 60°C.
